Kharkov City team comes first in the All-Ukrainian Young Chemists’ Tournament

Kharkov City team has come first in the 7th All-Ukrainian Young Chemists’ Tournament, which took place in Sumy.
18 teams from different cities and regions of Ukraine as well as from Russia and Armenia took part in the tournament.

Kharkov City team was awarded the first prize and valuable gifts.

The team consists of Young Chemists’ City Tournament winners in individual championship: Maxim Dzuba (Kharkov Technical Lyceum # 173), Vlada Isakova (Kharkov Technical Lyceum # 173), Nikita Markevich (Kharkov Physics and Mathematics Lyceum # 27), Aleksandra Svid (Kharkov Physics and Mathematics Lyceum # 27), Anna Spuzyak (Kharkov Compregensive School # 18). The team is led by Anna Vladimirovna Vitsentsik, Chemistry Teacher at Kharkov Specialized School # 99.

Apart from Kharkov City team, the All-Ukrainian Young Chemists’ Tournament was attended by:
- Moskovsky District team consisting of Dmitry Degtyar (Kharkov Gymnasium # 144), Yevgeniy Zvyagin (Kharkov Gymnasium # 144), Konstantin Kirushin (Kharkov Gymnasium # 144), Karina Litvinenko (Comprehensive School # 8);
- “Kavansit”, Ordzhonikidzevsky District team, consisting of Tatyana Kolodeznaya, Dmitry Kolodezny, Yekaterina Varrava (Secondary School # 80), Yevgeniy Romanenko (Secondary School # 119), Anastasia Romanenko (Comprehensive School # 157);
- the team of Kharkov educational complex №45 “Akademicheskaya Gimnasiya” (Academic Gymnasium), consisting of Olga Shmorgun, Aleksandr Sofonov, Anna Zhornik, Vadim Gadetsky, Maxim Shtanko.

All Kharkov young chemists’ teams reached the semifinal. In the semifinals, the teams of Moskovsky and Dzerzhinsky Districts shared the 3rd place.
