Contest of School Drawings "My rights"

Organizers: Coordinating Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine at the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice

Objective:

- instil a positive image of law as a state intitution into children and young adults;
- develop the feeling of importance of children’s rights;
- develop children’s moral and ethic qualities and provide social support to talented youth;
- contribute to their self-fulfilment and creative development.

Contest Participants: students of secondary schools aged under 18.

Conditions of Free Participation: both drawings made individually and drawings of groups of students (not more than 3 students) connected with the contest topic ‘My Rights’are admitted.

Conditions:

1. Each participant can submit only 1 work.
2. Contest works are submitted to regional organization committees formed by the Coordinating Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine.

Categories:

• Junior Group. Individual Work.
• Junior Group. Collective Work.
• Middle Group. Individual Work.
• Middle Group. Collective Work.
• Senior Group. Individual Work.
• Senior Group. Collective Work.

The Junior Group comprises children aged from 6 to 10, the Middle Group – from 10 to 14, the Senior Group – from 14 to 18.

Requirements to Contest Works: works must be made in a free graphic or pictorial form (pencils, felt-tip pens, paints, author’s original technique, computer graphics, etc.) in the A4 format.

Participation is free.
